The Gallery is frightening. Before I moved into the city, I used to take the train and I had to walk through that scary-ass mall to get to the station.

Urban malls should just never happen. It's like an oxymoron. Urbanites do not need malls. The Gallery is a prime example of what happens to malls in the city.

All malls do suck, but let's not forget about the Urban Mall. It's a sad, glorious beast- I'm thinking the Gallery down here. You ever venture into it? I worked there for almost a year and a half.

But aren't all malls a product of suburbia? I'd much rather shop in downtown Philly, NYC, San Francisco, wherever than be stuck in the mall with the same shops that every other mall across the country has.

To me, malls, along with big box retailers, are the center of soul-sucking suburbia. (But I still love Target.) :-)

No, no. Do not compare Park City to King of Prussia in anyway whatsoever. It means that They win and I know you will never let Them win. Urban always trumps suburban. It's a rule.

Oh, I've been there several times since I moved back here, but the transformation was still in progress. There were tons of empty stores in The Bon Ton mall, but now they're filled with cool things like Apple! Much improved. Makes me not miss King of Prussia as much. Sort of.

Ahh, Park City. When was the last time you were there? I think the redesign happened a couple of years back. My little sister just about wet herself when the Sephora went in.
